Rev. Nicholas Smith, M. A., LMHC
Licensed Psychotherapist
Nick is the Founder and Director of New Hope Counseling Center. He has been a practicing psychotherapist in the Space Coast since 1990. He received his Master of Arts in Counseling from Rollins College. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He is a Certified LMHC Supervisor with the State of Florida and a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Nick specializes in child/adolescent ADHD, trauma, grief, loss, divorce, learning and behavioral issues. He also specializes in marriage and pre-marriage counseling, blended family, parent training and coaching. He has advanced training in Critical Incident Stress Management, Acute Trauma Management, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (Phase One and Two) and is a member of the Stress Trauma and Acute Response Team for NASA. He is an ironman triathlete, ordained minister, marathoner and private pilot.

Linda Smith MA, BSN, LMHC, RN
I received my Mental Health Counseling degree from Webster University in 1999 and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1982 from the University of Akron.
I specialize in medical issues, women's issues, marriage counseling, anxiety, depression, and grief counseling. I use Biblical principles and the concepts of action and support to adjust areas in your life that you would like to see changed.
I have been married for 43 years to my best friend, I am a mother to two amazing girls, and I spend my spare time training for Ironman triathlons and marathons.

Jennifer Smith, M. A., LMHC
Jennifer earned her Master of Arts degree from Webster University. She has 93 doctorate graduate hours in psychology from Argosy University where she earned a 3.9 grade point average. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in her undergraduate psychology program at the University of South Florida.
She is trained in psychological assessment including: Intelligence, Achievement, Neuropsychology, Projective, Personality, Behavioral, and Emotional Testing. She specializes in Psycho-educational assessments for learning, attention and behavioral issues. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Play Therapies.
Her target populations are children, adolescents and adults who struggle with self-esteem, empowerment, depression, anxiety, ADHD and body image issues.

John Donovan, M. D.
General Practitioner
Dr. Donovan's background is in General Practice however he has extensive experience and knowledge in the area of Behavioral and Mental Health medicine. He is well versed in the assessment and medical interventions for individuals who present with psychological disorders and who may gain from psychotropic medication in conjunction with psychotherapy.
As we are all too aware, many of our patients who would gain from medical support for their conditions are too often financially unable to obtain this intervention. Dr. Donovan attempts to maintain a fee schedule which is reasonable and within the reach of the patients. He works closely with our staff and is collaborative regarding diagnostic impressions and treatment goals.

Diane Foley, M.A., LMHC

Annette Terzieff
Office Manager
I graduated from Harris Casel Institute of Nursing with my CNA in 2016. I later became a trained MA for Urgent care. This all led me to became an Office Manager here at New Hope. I have extensive training in scheduling and insurance billing, combined with many years of customer service.
